The University of Cumbria the largest trainer of teachers in the UK, in partnership with The Overseas Teachers Network, has designed courses around new standards and tailored the online delivery to suit teachers that are based around the world.
The University of Cumbria was formed on 1st August 2007 formally, from an amalgamation of St Martin’s College, Cumbria Institute of the Arts, and the Cumbrian campuses of the University of Central Lancashire.

CPD Course ‘Social & Emotional Aspects of Learning’
We have devised this online course to address the ‘Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning’ as a training module. It is a six-week module and aims to develop the underpinning qualities and skills that help promote positive behaviour and effective learning. It focuses on five social and emotional aspects of learning: self-awareness, managing feelings, motivation, empathy and social skills.
